Much of our business is the traditional insulating of sidewalls, floors
and attics in new construction and retrofit applications, but more and
more builders and homeowners are demanding increased comfort and energy
efficiency. Take sound control, for example.
Our installers now add sound control insulation to various areas within most of our home applications. We're talking fiber glass sound control batts between bathroom walls, around home office walls, around toilets and kids' playrooms, among other locations, to minimize unwanted noise in those areas. The Blow-In Blanket® System (BIBS) is also being used in many homes to ensure quiet and improved acoustical performance in today's new state-of-the-art homes, as well as the traditionally built homes of the past.
